Helicopter Hanoi Halong bay
People can get to Halong bay by:
1 – Helicopter, flight time 1 hour. Available only on Saturday
2 – Private A/C car with driver, drive time 3 hours and half one way.
3 – By public bus, 4-6 hours pending on how many stops en route the drive would make to pick up/drop off passengers.
4 – By train, people take cargo train from Hanoi to Yenvien and then to QuangNinh. The terminal is about 50km away from the harbor. Expect train delay, cancellation without notice. Available hard sleeper only
5 – Hanoi – Haiphong, drive time 2 hours. From Haiphong people can take the hydrofoil to Catba island, 1 hour boat ride. Schedule 9am and 12 am from Haiphong; From Catba 4pm.
